Advent Celebration

To celebrate the start of Advent the manse became the centre of a day of fun and reflection. The adults were given the opportunity at two prayer stations for a time of prayer and quiet reflection on the meaning of Christmas. The young folk enjoyed making crackers, Christmas decorations and decorating boxes in which they took home the biscuits they had decorated with edible holly and snowflakes. Shortbread, scones and soup provided nourishment for all throughout the day and was much appreciated.
