Christmas and the New Year

We had a well-attended candle-light service on Christmas Eve during which we raised money for The Puffin Pool, Dingwall where several people from the village go to receive hydro-therapy for various ailments.

Since the new year began the weather has meant everyone hunkering down, not risking snowy and icy roads but plans are afoot for the events to come. World Day of Prayer will be celebrated in Rosehall with a joint service for the linkage churches on Sunday 3 March. The service has been written by the women of Slovenia with the theme, “Come, everything is ready”. Refreshments will be served afterwards to give a chance to meet up with our friends from Edderton, Creich and Kincardine.

A quiz for church funds will be held at 8pm in Achness Hotel 15TH Feb – £2pp and all welcome.
